Bardic Competitions
Sponsorship covers the cost setting up the event. Tents, renting space, paying
the judge/judges, prizes, food and all other needs.
The date of the event must be set a minimum of 3 RL weeks in advance, along with
email notification to sponsor immortals and bard immortals.
Performers should notify the contact for the event 1 RL week before the competition.
All performances should be under 8 minutes, pre-written and practiced before hand.
The most coveted of all prizes for any bards competition is the charm that is awarded
to the first place winner. A true bards talent is shown by the charm string
attached to their instrument. Almost all competitions offer a charm as first prize
along with some other form of compensation. However, prizes for competition normally
do not carry large purses.
