Shadow elementalists are mages whose power centers around the element of Drov, which is the dark, and eternal night. The mages' powers usually lie in deception and secrecy, and are oft found having an aversion towards society, preferring to live alone or with others of their kind.
The spells of shadow mages typically invoke Drov, which is the name of darkness, of shadows, and things not of this world.
The shadow mages have had a time-old strife with the sun mages, just as the night struggles against the day. Thus, it is rare to ever find these two elements working together, just as the night is rarely seen when the sun shines.
